Rossendale Peach dahlia with layered coral-orange formal decorative bloom
Rossendale Peach coral-orange dahlia blooming on a tall stem in the garden

Rossendale Peach Dahlia

Rossendale Peach is a luminous coral-orange formal decorative dahlia with warm salmon and clementine undertones. Despite its name, the color is much more saturated than a true peach, giving the blooms a warmth and presence that immediately stands out in the field.

What makes Rossendale Peach especially beautiful is its form. The unusually thick, substantial petals are arranged in precise layers, creating exceptionally full, sculptural blooms with wonderful depth. Tall plants and strong stems make it as useful for cutting as it is striking in the garden. The color pairs beautifully with blush, cream, bronze, burgundy, and other warm autumn tones.

Why We Grow It: There is something about Rossendale Peach that is even better in person. The color is much richer than its name suggests—a glowing coral-orange that seems almost illuminated in the garden. But what really sets it apart for us is the flower itself. The petals are unusually thick and substantial, and their beautifully layered arrangement gives each bloom remarkable depth and form. It is distinctive without being difficult to use, productive without feeling ordinary, and one we are always happy to see blooming in the field.
