Hollyhill Serenity Dahlia

Hollyhill Serenity is a luminous waterlily dahlia with softly cupped petals in glowing shades of peach, apricot, and warm yellow. The color seems to radiate from the center of the flower, while the graceful waterlily form gives the blooms a lightness that is completely different from the densely packed decorative dahlias.

After growing Hollyhill Serenity for two seasons, it has only made us more excited to add waterlily dahlias to our collection. The open, elegant form lets light move through the petals, making the flowers seem to glow in the garden.

Why We Grow It: We have been growing Hollyhill Serenity for two years, and it has made us want to grow more waterlilies. There is something about the open, graceful form that allows the light to move through the petals in a way it simply can't with a more densely packed flower. Hollyhill Serenity positively glows in the garden, with warm peach, apricot, and yellow seeming to light the flower from within. It's exactly the kind of dahlia that reminds us why we don't want a garden filled with only one type of bloom.
