Darcy is sunshine in dahlia form—a luminous golden yellow with remarkable depth and dimension. Where some yellow dahlias can read a little flat, Darcy seems to glow, with layers of beautifully arranged petals catching the light and creating subtle shifts from warm butter to rich gold.

Despite its almost ball-like appearance, Darcy is technically a formal decorative, with densely layered petals creating a wonderfully full, rounded flower. Cheerful without being brash, it brings warmth to the garden and is especially beautiful mixed with softer peaches, creams, and warm autumn tones.

Why We Grow It: Yellow deserves more credit. Darcy is one of our favorites because its color has a depth that many yellows lack—it seems to glow rather than simply read yellow. The full, rounded flowers are unapologetically cheerful, bringing a little ball of sunshine to both the garden and the vase.

When do tubers ship?

We ship late winter through spring when temperatures are safe for transit. Preorders are reserved and ship in order received.

Do you ship internationally?

No, we cannot offer international shipping at this time.

What is your guarantee?

We guarantee a healthy tuber with a viable eye. If there’s a concern, email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can help. Our guarantee does not cover inadequate or excess moisture, critter or insect damage, frost damage, nutrient issues, or other growing conditions beyond our control.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

All sales are final and cannot be cancelled or modified.

Do you combine shipping?

We combine multiple orders to the same recipient name and refund extra shipping on orders placed through March 29.

How should I store tubers before planting?

Keep in a cool, dry place (40–50°F), away from moisture and freezing temps. Do not pot up until your soil and air temps are suitable.
